Let’s talk setup! What kind of plans do you have for setup on the 700? I myself am looking to go high end, because of this I have to wait; cause I’m still paying for the 600 NSP I just built, but that can’t stop my planning scavenging and searching to put together a kick butt Trex 700 setup! So I would like to hear what some of you other freaks are putting together; be it theory or reality let’s see what the most popular combinations will be?

Mine; so far is as follows

AR7000 or the new Spektrum if it’s out, don’t remember the number
Spartan + 8900R on tail
8717’s or maybe 8711’s on cyclic still researching
HS 82 MG on throttle
Flight Power 4000 mAh direct to RX
Spektrum Voltage regulators for the tail and Throttle
Carb smart
O.S not sure which one yet?
I’m going to try a couple of different main blades but I’ll start with Radixs
Align pipe if it is available when I can afford the kit.

YS 91 SR, MP5, 9451's, Multigov/3151, Spartan/8900G, Radix 710's, Radix tails, V-Blade paddles, Align 2in1, No carbsmart, PolyRC 4000 Mah. I will be getting the Align 90 size pipe when it's out.

the new spektrum 7100r has a built in dual voltage reg, and a built in throttle govenor. that is what I am planing on using. definetly 8717s they have way more torque than you need on 6v let alone 8. the 8711s have way more torque than you need and are pretty slow. not sure about throttle. spartan 8900G. I would go with 2 2s 2500s and cycle between them. I am going to go with the YS if the align pipe will work with it. 690 TST V blades

so:
7100r
spartan 8900G
8717s
throttle?
FP 2500
carbsmart
YS 91
hopefully align pipe
TST Vs

I will be going with:

Spektrum AR7000 Rx
Spektrum Voltage reg
2S Lipo
Align gov
Futaba 3151 on throttle
8717's on cyclic
Spartan with 8900G on the tail
690 Radix main blades
Radix tail blades
OS 91 SZ H non pumped motor
Hattori 939 pipe or maybe the Align pipe if it's ready

Cant wait! :Bang

I have some parts from my Aurora stash which will not be used:

1. 611 & 9256
2. OS 91 SZH non-pump with MP5 muffler
3. GV-1 (I have it on all my Helis and have a new spare one
4. V blade 710s or MAH 700 Kevlar

I haven't decided on Cyclic servos, maybe I'll run an 8v setup.

Can't go wrong with the GY611! How dare I say such against the DS760? Well, the 611 is tried and true. Do I have a DS760... no! But I'm thrilled with my 611, to put it simply... it just works!

I'm going to rob my 611 from the 600NSP and put it on the 700, I will put a 401 on the 600, is it okay? I am what I would class a sport flyer, no hard 3D stuff........yet?
