Can someone tell me the reason this ant. pivots up to 45* and 90* and also swivels left and right? I'm just curious and want to know. Thanks

iv heard that its not the best reception if the ant is poined directly at the RX
so tilting would give a better range
other than that i would say for storage purposes

your antena should not be pointed directly at the heli when flying near to you like within 10ft the antena signal sent out of your antena is in a radius or (spray like pattern) if you bend your antena at a 45' or 90' you will cover like 180' in front of you. if your antena is pointed straight out in front of you you will be covering more like 180' down to the ground if you know what i mean
