I just bought the sd version 200 a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting around to enjoying it. It was a real beeotch to get the gyro setup, Logictech go figure. I have had two crashes and 1 really close call. The gears have held up well. The first crash I flew the thing into the side of my house. Main shaft, spindle, 1 main grip, 1 flybar mixing arm and 1 tail shaft have all suffered and untimely demise. The gears, boom, shaft managed to survive to my surprise. The other crash I got to close to a trash can with the tail. I cringed cause I knew that would be the gears for sure. Not so. The plastic bell crank for the pitch slider snapped and the ends of the tail blades were scuffed up but the gears are still good. Today for some reason I landed in the grass as soon as I did I saw grass flying and heard the blades thrashing away. Hit throttle hold and ran over expecting the worst only thing was one of the little links that connect the pitch slider to the tail blade grips had popped off. Snapped it back on and took off again, from the concrete though. I know the gears can be shredded without to much effort but they aren't the eggshells they are made out to be. I would advise anyone with shaft drive to get the tail up higher. I put different landing gear on mine that are twice the height of the stock landing gear and that is probably what saved my gears today in the grass. I've changed the landing gear on all my helis since they are always to short and just look to small in my opinion.

Cool. Thanks for the update. Once I get out of the crashing often stage I'll probably upgrade, but the belt will work for me for now.
