Ok,

I just want to make sure I am doing this right because I don't want to damage my precious LiPo's.

Kong/Air Thunder 11.1v 3S1P 2200 mAh 25c's

I'm flying the packs at 6 minutes idle2 100% flat throttle. Landing with plenty of power to spare. I hook the batteries up to the serial cable and plug them into the deans connector on the charger. Battery shows up as 22.1v NiCad on the charger. I plug the 2 balance connectors into the battery bridge and plug that into the charger and NiCad changes to 'LiPo' and I can view the current cell voltages.

Here is my question. The kong's/AT's say they are rated at 3C for charging, but I don't want to push the LiPo's that hard, so I would prefer 2C max. So in the 'Charge' menu...for battery capacity I would choose 4.4 amps for carge rate correct? (2200 mAh at 2C)

Is this correct...cause My batteries are DONE charging in about 45 minutes. BOTH of them. Charger reports back on avg 1.75 amps went back in. That is per cell correct? Each cell is topped off at 4.20v. Now I know what you are saying...'why are you complaining'....I'm just checking to make sure I'm not beating the crap out of my batts and I'm doing this dual charging correctly.

Thank you,
Brian

Yes, you have it all correct:

* 2 packs in series = 6S, 22.2V nominal

* 1C charge rate for series packs = 1C charge rate for a single pack = 2.2A for your packs

* Charging at 2C (4.4A) is OK for your packs and may or may not affect pack lifetime, there are differing views on that. I charge my KP packs at 2C when I am in a hurry and 1C otherwise. I have about 30-40 cycles on them so far and they are still fine.

The KP100W6/MaxproX6 is a very good charger and I think you will be quite happy with it.

Kenneth,

Thank you. I appreciate the clarification.
