Thought maybe some of you would like to see the first turbine powered predator made in the USA, also the first free turbine AMA approved.
i should add that this was done 3 years ago now.

That looks like its built as a tank. Very cool. I wish I could afford turbine then I'd buy one for sure.

The heli is the prototype first one my Friend who owns JDE built the turbine section and then worked with Century to make up the frame's and install then worked with Perry century's test pilot and then test fly the bird i have been after him to put the video that he has of it flying on his web site also join this forum.

Century used to have a video of a Predator Turbine "prototype" doing some aerobatics on their web site. It disappeared a year or two ago.
Was that this heli?

Last time i looked at the century web site the video was still there but you had to down load the file to your computer and yes it's the same heli.

Hey All,
I just came across this thread & thought I'd give you a little information on this very machine. I have recently rebuilt & test flown this model with a WREN MW54 turbine to go back into Centurys working heli collection.
