I recently moved and ran across a pair of H3D glasses I bought (wicked3d brand) about 6-8 years ago so I thought I'd try to get them to work with Phoenix. No luck with the glasses. But, I did notice the Nvidia stereo driver controler only showed red and blue glasses. The H3D glasses only work with CRT displays and not LCD or Plasma screens. Long story short, I played with the drivers and dug up a pair of paper red/blue glasses from my boys Lava girl Shark boy DVD and what do you know? Phoenix in 3D. It's not perfect but let me tell ya, Phoenix on a 50" plasma in 3D is a hoot. Very realistic flying with the depth perception !

Buzzkill, can you please share the settings, which video card you have, and drivers that you used for Phoenix in 3d? I assume that you have a pretty good machine. I have a workstation that I use as my primary Phoenix Sim that has a 24" LCD and a NVIDIA QUADRO FX3400. It is used for CAD/CAM and modeling and simulation (engineering sims, not "fun" simulation) work, but has phoenix on it for relaxing. I am extremelly interested in the 3D aspect of Phoneix if only as a proof of concept and something new to try.

Thanks, and great posts on the Gaui 200 boards, I might get one this summer...

GO to the Nvidia site and download the Stereo 3D drivers. You'll need the glasses. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d_stereo.html Looks like you might have to have a Geforce chipset, that's what is in my laptop.
