Wow! Wish I was closer. I'm in NC but WAY over next to Tennessee so it's a LONG drive from here.
Thanks for the heads up though :)

Just fill the cooler with TONS of beers, have the wifey drive you. Its all good. :YeaBaby: If you drink the beers in the proper manner you wont even notice the long drive.

Sounds JUST like our trip a while back to "The Outer Banks". All was good till I "Broke the bladder Seal" then it was her saying, "You gotta pee AGAIN? I just got out of the emergency lane!"

You come pick me up Al, and I'll drive your car from here. And I have a 5 gallon bucket with a lid I can bring for ya! ;)
I would go for the day if I could find someone local to ride with. My truck has 200k on it. I don't take it on trips like that anymore.

I wish I could Sokal, your offer is very generous. But I do not trust my truck on such a long trip right now and the dang gas... Heck, getting back and forth to work has cost me double now (as everyone I'm sure). I have not given up hope but the chances look slim of working something out.
Still hoping I might hear from someone in SC or around me in NC that is going and wants some help on the gas costs. If you are out there... PM me.

Sokal, I just had a great idea. Tell your superiors you need to shake down one of the heli's to check out a vibration and fly down here and pick me up. I will meet you at the speedway helipad. ;) After all, I am a tax payer and my pennies do pay for the fuel. :YeaBaby:

Don't worry HeliMix just convert your truck to electric. Build a lipo parallel in the back bed. It will save you alot of money.

Nobody talked to you because you probably looked like a zombie from being up for an entire day. Either that or you forgot to put on your underarm deodorant and you were stinkin' the place up.
