Wow, what a bunch of acronyms, and I though the computer industry was bad!
Translation:
Curtis Younblood Muscle Pipe 2 Quiet Low Gear Ratio version (8.5-9.0) installed in my Raptor 50 Version 2 with an OS50SXH.
I had to trim the canopy about an inch to make room for the front of the pipe. My dremel with a sanding drum made that easy.
The pipe looks nice, although the polished finish was marred a bit in one or two spots. This obviously happened during shipping. I guess the pipe must have been moving around inside its box.
I noticed that CY does not thread the holes for the muffler bolts, so the bolts just go straight through and you must use nuts on the bolts. They supplied new bolts, lock washers and nuts.
I chose to use my own nylon locknuts rather than the normal nuts that CY supplied. This may not make any difference with heat of the exhaust, but this is what I've always done in the past. I usually like to use two nuts on each screw, one to lock it in place. But the supplied bolts were not quite long enough for this. If the muffler had threaded holes, then the locknuts would have done a better job.
(oh, CY = Curtis Younblood)
I haven't flown it yet, I just installed it last night.
