So I picked one of these gyros up yesterday with the full intention of using it on my 450. But the G90 thats on that is working so well why even bother removing it? Now if you ask me about the gyro that is on my Rappy (JR 410G) I'd say that it's a nice paperweight. Did all the setup last night. I'll post what I think about the gyro soon as I'm done flying.
Oh before I forget..... Anybody have one of these in their Raptors (or other nitro heli)? What do you think about this gyro?

Do they recommend its use on a nitro bird? I thought I had read that that was designed for small electric only and the bigger version for nitro. I could be wrong mind you, and the only real difference would be vibration.

Don't know if it is recommended but it works!
Got the gyro all dialed in and it's doing its job EXCEPT for one thing. The heli will randomly kick the tail out. Upon inspecting the entire heli I put my finger atop the gyro and was able to very easily fell the vibration of the engine. This vibration is apparently causing the gyro to misbehave. Today I will attempt to fabricate a new mount to isolate the gyro from the vibrations. I have read that these gyros are not too tolerant of vibration.

Fabricated a mount out of some foam I had laying arounf and the only place I could mount the gyro where it had very little vibration was atop the boom block. But then a new issue arose, with the gyro back there it would be exposed to the oil from the exhaust and that would ruin it. Moved the gyro up front but it didn't fit any more. This gyro is going to my 450, got a JR G770 now on the rappy and it is sweet!!
