well, my fumble fingers got in the way while I was changing the DX6i settings, and I got lost - so I called "Horizon"...........
talk about really good, pleasant tech support ( I almost fell outta the chair )... KUDOS,
after he got me on track, he threw in this little tidbit - he said that once you get a setup that you like - make a new model on the Tx, and copy the settings into that one, so you can use it as a backup if you fumble (screw) it up again........
sorry if this has been posted before, but it flat out never occurred to me to do this - just info FYI

There are a lot of posts about loosing your settings so I and a lot of people copy it from the get go........I fly model 1 and model 10 is my backup. But good post for those that haven't copied it yet - YOU SHOULD.
Just want to add my kudo's to Horizon Hobby - thier tech support has helped me very much on three occasions. - and they have stood behind thier product replacing parts and charger that were defective - I got new parts in 3 days. To me they are ver different than other outlets I have delt with.

I'll add to this one! I called the other day and tech support was busy so I left my number and they actually called me back - not only that but they were very helpful and nice. They gave me many suggestions and answered all the questions I had.
Great tech support from a hobby dealer! So I add my kudos to all of yours here.
