Battery $42- Nice

Just got a Common Sense 2000MAh 20C battery $42.00- fits the battery tray better- shorter but a little fatter- has the right charger plug for Blade 400 charger - flys nice and long compared to E-Flite's 1800 @ $62,00 stock battery - Hope it lasts a while. Anybody else try this one?

LHS- The shop owner said the Common Sense Batteries were made in same factory as the E-Flite's - but I won't swear he was correct.

I've heard/read too many bad stories about common sense batts......I'm sticking with zippy and loong-max batts and they are cheaper too.

I have an 1800mAH 3s1p 20C G-Force battery I picked up from www.valuehobby.com (US Based) for $26 plus shipping. Have only used it twice and neither time in my B400 (long story, basically it's been down going on 2 monhts now) and it's working well. Obviously two uses isn't any kind of history to go by, but if they hold up like my 2s1p batteries I got from them I expect it to last some time.

Besides, $26 isn't much to gamble anyway, compared to E-Flite pricing.

A while back there was some kind of problem, I just remember people ranting about getting (not getting replacements) maybe there was a recall ?? Someone in the know should chime in here.....I think the puffed really soon or something......sorry dont have details as it didnt happen to me. Just remember reading about them and the name stuck in my head as I will stay away fromt them........maybe you can find something in the battery forum if no one speaks up here.
