IMO it's not too bad.. got some design flair to it, but not good color choices for orientation recognition. Too dark overall. When I do canopies for customers, we always discuss options for good contrasting color schemes so they can see it well in flight. Don't think that one will be a big seller for Align.

I like it too, just wondering how much it will cost has there's a little more job than on a standard canopy

Fire everyone responsible for canopy design at Align. There is not one minute too lose. Fire them now, especially the guy that came up with, and or approved the lightning bolt graphics for the other canopies. The design on this canopy is pretty good but the color choices are bad.

i like it, its different and use,s a different windshield giving it the 450 look so many people were clammering for lol.

When will Align make a Trex "shaped" canopy? Personaly thats what I'd like to see. The 450 and 600 has a lower nose that looks a lot more aggresive and tough. Would sure help with the batteries fitting too.

I doubt it......my guess is only same canopy with different paint job..

I think the design is smart in so much as the graphics give the illusion of a more 450/600 look and shape. On top of that, the oval window is a nice departure. Color option might be in order. Not bad overall.

I see someone else post the "actual" item in other forum. It looks better than what the align shows....I start to like this new canopy...

anyone notice this new canopy seems to have a rounder shape like the 450 and 600?

I think these new designs are extremely cool. One of the local guy has the yellow lightening canopy and it actually looks pretty cool in person. And it's actually narrower than the stock canopy to give that streamline look.

I'd give my left cyclic servo for a Trex 600 Nitro shaped canopy that fits a 500.
