Now I know there is a sticky above about them, but how many of use use them? Would we? Should we?

I too looked at the technobots site, and there are several to choose from. What would be good for the standard [??] Beltrex with a 6/7 ch Spektrum or Futaba RX?

At last count, I have five separate switching BECs installed in stuff that flies... The Dimension Engineering SportBEC is supposed to be the epitome of greatness, but for a £10.50 price difference per unit I'm happy with my 3A/5A Hobbywings and Turnigies :)
And yes, after all I've read about the brown-outs, I think all 2.4 GHz receivers should have one.

At £11.74 from technobots, what would the parkbec be like for 6ch use?

TBH, I don't really know about the ParkBEC... depends on the servos and gyro you use. 1.25 A sounds like cutting it a little too close for comfort, but many people use them and so far I haven't heard of one failing to deliver.
That Tornado looks exactly like all of mine. I'm pretty sure they all come from the same factory - the only difference is what label they stamp on the covering.

..think I will gert the Tornado, as I don't like having "just the capacity"
