I ordered the 22 and 23t pinions to reduce the headspeed and make the motor run cooler,so I installed the 22 and set the throttle curve to 0/30/50/75/80/85/90 with a pitch curve of -2/0/2/5/7/9/11 and tried it this morning and the motor jittered,so I tried again and was fine except the head speed went up alarmingly and when I used the jeti box to check everything it gave an amp reading which it isn't surposed to do unless you reach full throttle for 4 seconds.
I recharged the batt and now it just jitters and vibrates.
My setup is
jeti spin 55 with the jeti box
axi 28/26 10
jr pcm9x2 with spektrum installed last week(was futaba6ex 2.4)
futaba 3150 cyclic 401/9650
22t pinion
flight power 4s 3300
The distributor for jeti and axi think I've got the timing setting wrong but I'm sure its ok,set at 25 degrees for a 14 pole motor.
Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.
by the way I'm a noob so I could have done something wrong.

I just tried again to get it going and the motor is trying to run backwards and forwards at the same time.
Is this a sign I have toasted the motor?

Sounds like it is. I don't know if you saw this. Here's link for setting up the Jeti for the Axi

Thanks for the link mate,I just copied their setup and it still has the same symptoms so I'm gonna order a new motor today.I thought I'd over reved it on the ground before it went funny.
Thanks again for your help.

Try resoldering your motor/esc bullet connectors. My friend had the same problem...

Thanks for replying,it turned out to be the esc,I swaped the motor and it was the same so I talked to ripmax and they said it was the esc so they've replaced it and it works again.
I just bought a kontronik esc so the jeti can be a spare as I'm nervous of it now just in case it goes again.
Thanks again for the reply.
Danny.
