I am currently using a RevMax in my Raptor 50, Os 50H and RT610 blades.
The Revmax is properly setup, 1850 in normal, 1950 and 2050 in st1 and st2.
Presently, decent throttle curves are programmed in all modes so if something goes wrong with the RM, then I can always fly the helo safely.
Now my question... I read on a website ( Scott Gray's website) that some people set their stunt throttle curves to a 100% flat line, that way the RM acts as a governor ( and will help with head bogging). I am thinking of doig this myself on ST2 only (will be much better than cyclic-throttle mix....), but what happens if the RM suddenly stops working? Will the helicopter desintegrate, or will I have time to switch back to ST1 or Norm mode???
