May 31st First Helicopter fun fly at Cherry Creek flying field in Colorado

May 31st Saturday.


This is our first helicopter fun fly at Cherry Creek State Park in Colorado. We would like to invite everyone for all day helicopter flying, food, and prizes. Hope to see everyone from Colorado to represent and show everyone what kind of flying we are all about.

Yup, coming too. Going to bring both Logos, too. Hope to get there early, and probably won't stay terribly late.

I cant wait. A lot of people are planning on coming and the weather report as of now looks good so I guess we shall see.

The deer like to watch the helis fly too.

Big props... make that BIG ROTORS to t-rexn8 for getting this going. I had a GREAT TIME. We need to do this more often than once a year, however!

I had a GR8 time as well! Over 45 registered pilots and I STILL had 10 flights (easily; even the Gaui 200 flew great in the wind!). Great food, great prizes, and good people. Let's do it again soon! :)

Thanks for the kind words guys. I had a blast and there was a lot of familiar faces and a bunch of new ones too. I cant thank everyone enough for their support. Everyone helped spread the word and a lot of club members came to volunteer. I hope to do this event every year and we can definately organize more throughout the year.

Man I didnt leave the field till about 9:00 last night. I am tired today.

Lets stay in touch and have some more get-togethers wherever we can meet up.

It really was alot of fun.
I got 12 flights in with my 450.

and I got a buch of swag, a couple free T-shirts and $10 coupon from the raffle tickets.

There were so many prizes for the raffle, that I think most people got something.

And the food was good. Everything flowed smoothly. I had a great time. Thanks
