The post on changing main gear was great . Is there any info on changing the tail drive gear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The way I do it is to:
*Remove the left hand tail boom support screw from the rear UC member.
*Remove the 9 rear most frame screws allowing you to prise the 2 halves of the frame
far enough apart to remove the tail pinion assembly.
*Remove the pinion and fit a new one.
*Reasemble the heli and set the tail belt tension.
The whole proscess can be done in under 10 mins. with a little practise:)
It's a little fiddly getting the bottom bearing in place in its holder with out it coming off the end of the shaft, but I can do it and I'm pretty clumsy.
Also make sure you twist the belt the right way when you put it back on the pinion or the tail rotor will spin the wrong way.
If you need to take more screws out just be sure not to dislodge the main bearings.
Hope you find this usefull

( Sorry :oops:I have done a DTS mod on mine so the rear servos arn't where yours are, you may need tto remoave one or both of them to get proper access to the pinion, still only a couple more screws though, afraid there's no way round being a micro mechanic when you have a heli :))

Yea, thanks! I'm going to have to do that next week when my new drive gear gets here.
I really appreciate the help.
