The Stratus full kits are shipping with flybar paddles part #0871-7 which appear to be the white 20g 3D paddles #0871-6 with the leading edge blunted. Can anyone confirm the actual difference? Thanks.

0871-6 is the 20 gram 3D paddles with a 3mm flybar hole
0871-5 20 gram white 3D paddles.
Don't know about 0871-7, MA does not show those listed.

I think it is the 20g with 3/16 removed from the leading edge.

Yes the leading edge is being removed to improve the performance of the paddles. This is a modification I have been doing for quite some time now as it still allows the paddle to be aggressive without the pitching and touchiness that the sharp leading edge creates. The paddles are still aggressive, just now have a much nicer feel to them.
Try them out and let me know what you think.

David H, yea I should have typed #0871-5. I've only seen the #0871-7 referenced in the full kit Stratus instructions.
I'll mill 3/16" off the front and round off my #0871-5s per Sam and Eric. Thanks for the help guys. I'll let you know how it works.

Will the stratus paddle fit the exteme flybar with the english pitch threads. I am in the process of rebuilding my extreme and would like to try them out.

All the MA helis use the same flybar. They all have standard threads on the ends.
The flybar diameter is 5/32 aka 4mm. The threads are standard and not metric.
