The clink hose feels a little stiff.

its cut correctly to allow free movement in the tank. It does not move around much at all though. Im wondering will get softer when fuel is in the tank over time?

i put three holes in the side of my tank for my fittings, I see other tanks out there with only one hole?

Im going by the manual and Im not sure if every section is up to date for the EB. The manual may be correct its just you guys that are beeing to fancy with your tanks! :)

On the gasser you should have 3 holes.
One for the pickup, one for the return and one for the vent.

You may be seeing pictures of a glow machine with one of the lines being hidden.

The clunk should lay in the bottom of the tank easily and move from side to side without touching the corners or side of the tank when you move it around.

I hold my tanks upside down and if the clunk comes within a 1/4" of the bottom (top :D ) of the tank then I am good to go.

I found a walbro clunk unit laying around in my 5th scale car bone yard!

its a soft hose that is very flimsy and has a big opening with filter.

I'm no gasser expert (yet) but on my Bergen and Vario I used a "Fuel Magnet" clunk and the black fuel line they sell at Ricks. The fuel line is softer than tygon and more flexible. The fuel magnet will absolutely not draw air until the tank is bone dry. It's amazing.

yeah, its from a gassoline truck that has the same engine as my Bergen EB

its a soft black hose that has good dangle!

if I tilt the bird right it falls all the way to the right
if i tilt the bird left it falls all the way to the left.

Im waiting on blades and a ball joint sizer now!

The Stens clunk that Rick's sells and is included withthe MA Spectra G Kit is a good choice as well. It is almost like a OMI Fuel Magnet for gas.

The Rick's Part Number is STENS 610-381
