Hi guys"´!

I live in Sweden and since all RC spare parts are so expensive here i thought i'd order some from Hongkong to keep as stock if anything breaks.

I found the store RC711.com which seem to be a good one. Do you have any other store to recommend that are batter than rc711?

Here is my shopping list so far.
Is there anything i should change/add/delete? Have i missed out on buying something i need?

Is there any spare parts that i dont have to buy that are in the list? And are there any parts that i should buy but arent in the list?

I'm thinking I dont need to upgrade the heli quite yet, as i still dont know how to fly, so once i learn to manouver this heli im going to upgrade it / buy a t-rex

Its a Belt CP Carbon edition by the way

Thanks for your time!

Belt CPs eat main gears and feathering spindles (notable by their absence on your list) in the most minor incidents. Masts go pretty easily, too. Good luck getting a straight one. Look at the Belt CP compatible parts list for sources of alternatives.

Don't bother with anything carbon (blades, boom) until you can fly predictably. In general, carbon breaks just as easily and costs more.

To be honest, I don't see the point of the Belt CP carbon. As an 'all in one' thing the plastic kit is fine, but the carbon/alu version is outclassed by the CopterX or HDX450, which also share many parts with the Trex 450, giving greater part availability. I liked my Belt CP and it taught me a lot, but poor quality control on the part of Esky drove me away from it. If you want an all in on kit, the Blade 400 seems to be the way to go at the moment.

HTH.

unwind-protect is correct in his statement to stay away from cf aslong as you cannot control the heli a bit and yes it eats main gears and featering shafts
You will learn with a belt cp all there is to know about the setup of a heli .
This little heli is the best learning school you will get across ( + this forum of course)

Welcome the the Belt CP forum Eyass:hug:

Im sure you will find lots of helpful information here,

For many of us our Belt was our first introduction to CP helicopters and as Ber has said it will teach you alot about setting up helicopters.

For it's price the Belt is an amazing bit of kit. but some of the components are better replaced with non Esky parts when they break

Esky blades are not good, most of us use Align Pro wooden blades (315 or 325) but you
need to put a spacer in the blade holder to make them fit with a standard head.

Also many Esky main shafts come already bent so dont use them, again many people use Trex 450 mainshafts which are far better quality or Gerd (Psilo) sells some Stainless steelones on his new website.

There are many mods and tweaks you can do on you belt which can make it fly just as well as a Trex 450 (IMO)

All the best
