I have an AR7000 receiver and between handling/crashing/repairing it seems like the antenna wires are always bent and screwy. Tonight I noticed the "little guy" that I keep on the outside of the heli had some nicks in the insulation and some bare wire showing. So, I had some 1/8" heat shrink in the tool box and covered the wires. It seems to work fine and it adds some rigidity to hold them out straight. Just wondering if I've committed a cardinal sin as far as reception goes or if I should be fine. I'm not going to fly the thing 1000' away, it's hard enough to see at 100'.
