View Full Version : E325 flybar riping canopy/gyro
mayden my mini-titan yesterday, very preditable and stable - love it! :noteworthy
thing is during building I notice there is no mechanical limit on flybar to prevent hiting the canopy or even the gyro...
why is that?

Really great bird, isnīt it?
There is a mod were you glue a piece of tubing at the bottom of the flybar slot in the head. This will prevent the flybar from banging into the gyro (if top mounted) or otherwise hitting the canopy.
Personally i have yet to have any problem without doing the mod. Just make sure that your flybar is fairly level at startup. The flybar doesnīt really move that much around during flight. Guess i should mention that iīm no 3D guy, just regular newb FF flight and hover practises for now.

Most people dont have a problem with the flybar the way it's made.
Only in the event of a crash is the gyro at any risk (if mounted on top).
It happened to someone in my group. He'll never put it on top again.
Your tail servo can be positioned somewhat at an angle where it is slightly less 'in the way' of the paddles orbit. Like I mentioned earlier, only in a crash is it ever at any risk I think.
