First off let me say that this is a great community for a beginner like myself trying to get into the world of RC heli's.

I just purchased the Caliber 4 with the OS .37 Engine and was looking for some recommendations on throttle and pitch curve. I have been thinking about using the below but any recommendations would be really helpful.

On my cal-4 (with an os-37 and muscle pipe) I use straight lines for the pitch curves. -10 degrees to 10 degrees for all modes except throttle hold. For T-hold I go from -4 degrees to 12 degrees. I then set the throttle curve where ever it needs to be to maintain headspeed.

What headspeed to you run? I've been using 1700 and 1800

Do you use the flybar weights? I'm thinking of removing them...

Have you changed the mixing from the hole recommended in the manual? It seems to make the heli more responsive.

Hope this helps.
