Ok, so I've wiped out my flybar and feathering shaft.. I take it apart and there are a few extra washers, I don't know what side they were on, should I reassemble according to the book?

some have 2 small ones and one bigger one and a rubber o ring. the new ones have 4 smaller ones instead of two. someone with more exp will tell you more but just assemble the way the book is and use them all

To be specific : on dummies page "How to repair your Blade 440 is a manual which is especially good on components of thrust bearings on feathering shaft - I printed out the whole manual and find it very useful. Good Luck
