I guess the guys Dood is gonna tell me its ok . theres not support needed there just like the 8mm OD bearing in the bottom of the bell for the 5mm ID starter shaft !!!! So far I have 4 bearing blocks with no threads in the holes where the screw goes(1 hole on each block) and a Clutch bell with a bearing that does absolutely nothing(as-per Dood) and LET'S ALL SEE WHAT OTHER UPDATES AVANT WILL HAVE IN THE THREADS FOR THESE MISTAKES!

Since you brought my name up, I gotta stand up.
I told you in your other thread what those bearings in the clutch stack did.
The bearings in the clutch stack... The lower, larger bearing, supports the pinion.
The upper, smaller bearing supports the start shaft.
They both do SOMETHING.

For your reference here's an exploded view of the clutch stack and a detail of the clutch bell bearing. As you can see the diameter of the clutch bell bearing should be 6mm ID. The OD is 12 mm and I don't think we have a bearing that's 12mm OD and 8mm ID so I'm mystified as to what you're looking at. Please post or send me a picture of it.

Heres is another one just in case ! Now does everyone see the gap between the bearing and the shaft ? I suppose that bearing has alot of support but my question is to WHAT ??? And Sorry Augusto I haven't checked the avant site yet. But I really do thank you for the concern!

I see what happened on that one.
That's as 7mm ID bearing not an 8mm one. That's the one used in the slider ring. I guess one got mixed up with the ones that go on the bell and the two ladies that install those were on autopilot mode :D
Don't worry, PM me you name and address at the AvantRC.com website and we will send you all the parts you need right away.
Sorry for the mistake.

I hate to be a marter here and Augusto I mean no disrespect in what I am going to say but we will have to wait till there are more kits out there to judge the service we will get. I am sure it will be great service but until there is lots of kits out there we will plain just not know what service we will get. It is the same with all manufacturers.

I dont disagree but giving Customer service to 3 or 4 people is different to 1000's. When that is the case we can judge the Customer service.

I know castle creations have a great customer service... because 1000's of people have to use it. It would be great if only 3 to 4 people actually need to report about a good customer service.

Well that's the way it usually works regardless. 50 people could have had an awesome experience with customer service from a given company, and only 2-3 will write about it. 15 people could have had bad experiences with the same company and chances are you'll hear from all 15 of them. Funny how that works

1000 people can get all different kinds of customer service, But all I know is that I got great service from Augusto at Avant so I'm speaking out loud on my behalf. Just to let others know that if there is a problem, it will get resolved, and for those who don't know much that may be some reassuring news !
