I fly my Trex 500 or 450 !!!!! Took the 500 out today to test a newly installed Spartan 760. I'll be putting one in a Gaui 200 as soon as Spartan helps me fix whatever I screwed up on it.

Ran out of juice. I did about 4 min of flying before that flight. The 500 goes down fast when juice is low so I had to bring her in and set it down before it took a dirt nap. :smokin:

nice dude. i'm gonna be ruining batteries with my raptor, i just know it. i'm getting some 5000 mAh eXtreme V2's for it. going 6S thunder power. first, i want to try these 10c 4000mAh 6s stick packs. i think i might learn with them (i.e. crash) then switch to the V2's when i'm ready.

Been there, done that. I installed the Spartan (took one out after it screwed up) so I didn't want to get fancy for the first few flights. As soon as the wind dies down I'll post up some Gaui 200 loops, flips and rolls.

The Spartan is unbelievable. Simply the best I've ever owned. I have two and updated the firmware on one with the USB cable and it screwed up somehow.
Installed second one (simple setup, 1. set direction 2.set end points) and didn't have to make a single adjustment. Although with the USB cable and software you can tweak multiple settings to your hearts content. Fortunately my skills don't require advanced settings
As soon as Spartan gets back to me and I get the other 760 going it's got a home on a Gaui 200.

Will do. Should be here Monday.
On a more relative note. I put one of the Z motors in the 200 today, the 5150 kv. I only finished right at dark so I was only able to get in a quick hover. All I can say is I thought someone had sneaked a 3s lipo under the canopy. This thing is almost scary with the headspeed. I'll tach it tomorrow. I tached the stock setup at 85% throttle at 4100 and the new motor I backed it down to 75% and it was still well over 4100. And the piro rate is amazing, it reminds me of the video of the Rave. I initally tried my castle 10 esc but I couldn't get it to arm at low stick without running the throttle trim all the way down. Problem with that was throttle hold did not stop the motor it was at about 15%. I was losing daylight and wanted to try it out so I threw the Gaui back in. I'll play with the castle some more tomorrow. Not really sure if the Castle 10 is strong enough for the Z motor. I know my lipo was the warmest it has ever been after the hover test. I am using the 2s 850 Kong packs. Only flew for 3 or 4 minutes and put back 510 mah. Shaft drive held up well.

Cool. I was thinking about putting in a z-power motor as well.
