Has anyone else experienced that the wooden blades are an extremely tight fit for the stock blade grips?

Never had that problem my self. I've went through at least 12 sets of woodies so far.

Can You sand the roots?
That's what I do with the T-Rex.

I tried sanding the roots. It's not just a kind of tight fit, I tried to put them on, but I was pushing so hard I was to the point where I stopped because I didn't want to bend something. Maybe they're just defective blades. I'll get another pair and try them.

My grips were pretty tight, and the sharp edge in the opening would dig into the soft plastic on the grip.
I lightly sanded them with 400 grit and the problem went away.
