what would happen if you discovered your transmitter is a 75mhz model with a 72mhz crystal in it?

No way I'd fly it. Send it the service center or radio south and make sure its tuned right. My friend had one that someone crystal swapped in band that he sent to radio south and it had about 60 percent of the power output before he tuned it than it should and had after he tuned it.

i have a set of 75mhz comming just to see if my suspictions are right............i am running a copterx with an fma co-pilot installed and i cant get past the test stage of my project because of low signal strength.......i set it up on another trans that i have and it had alot of signal but it is glitchie as hell..............thanks
