what the hell is cyclon??????

i just bought a cyclon mini heli punch motor for my 450 se v2.... i swapped out a 3550 align 430l motor with a 4050 kv 430x align and it kicked....i wanted something even better so i went for the cylon.....at 40$ and descriptions of headspeeds over 3000 rpms i thought it would be better than my 430x......i was wrong! any one else heard of the cylcon mini heli punch???? i personally think this motor sucks , anyone else provide me with the same feedback??? i woulda ordered the skorpian 2221-6 motor but its sold out everywhere.....so any ideas of a motor thats better than the 430 x 4050 kv? thanks for the input

i have one also. i installed it in my shark 450 last week..... im still on the fence on this motor. im running the stock 11t pinion right now, and am thinking of upping this to 12/13 before giving up on it.

it certainly is a much smaller motor than the stock BL2215-450 that i had in the shark. i dunno. i know what you mean though, its no phenom as stated.

heck, i can get the bl2215-450 for 19.00 here, and i paid 45.00 for this cyclone.

yeah i checked out all the specs on this motor...no way it could turn 3000 rpms on my t rex 450...the motor is running at only 200-300watts max...on 25c 2200mah lipos.,...the motor was too hot to touch. After checking this out i realize this motor is nothing but a lighter replacement for the 430x 3550 kv motor...even that one has more torque. the mini heli punch is rated to run good at 16 amps....thats weak. personally im giving this motor away for free of im gonna take a hammer to it....if you want it pay for shipping ,u got it...even my pal refused to have this motor for free in his mini titan lol....

yeah, ill change out the pinion when i get time..... then prolly pull the motor and chuck it in the drawer. or, i may stick it in my falcon 3d.

i just ordered another motor, its called the ICE cold 3800KV Sky Dancer Series.......max load 45A, max power 460 watt.

as far as powering my shark 450, the BL2215-450 works fine as far as power wise, 'cept i keep cracking the bottom bell on these motors.....

so ill try this thing when i get it. it was 29.95 canadian BTW.:cheers
