I was having no problem with my Cx2 , after a small crash I need to change the lower blade, and after that I cant hover more than 1 or 2 inches from the ground, I have check the batterie voltage at full load with no drop in voltage so I belive is not the batterie, also I have check motors, and mechanical parts and seem alright, has any one have these problem or knows what is the problem? I will be very very gratefull if anyone comes with an idea. Thanks:lol:

Check and make sure that the 2 bottom gears are making good contact with the motor pinions. Also make sure that the flybar is not bent, and that you didnt install the blades the wrong way.

Could it go on upside down?

Also check to make sure that the Shafts are not bent or binding. And that the Gears are not slipping or have teeth missing.

G'day
Iv'e had the same problem a couple a times after a minor crash.
One time I lost 5 days flying waiting on new bits and by the the time I got flying again I could hardly get off the ground, I was really stumped (clueless) as to what the problem was and replaced the motors but that didn't help. In the end I bought a new battery and woh what a difference! The batts go off if you don't use them for a while. They still show voltage but .....there's heaps on the subject of batts on this forum.
Is the top linkage snapped on the correct ball on one of the blades, I found I had to snap it on the same ball every time and there's 2 to choose from.
All the best.

you can put them on upside down but it is more likly that you have either lower blades on the top or upper blades on the bottom, not sure what would happen if you had the same blade on upper and lower head. might make for an interesting experiment.

Its impossible for the top to be on the bottom or vise versa. The linkages are different sizes so you wouldnt be able to connect the swash to the top or the flybar to the bottom. I would say maybe its your battery? I dunno, check. Stock batterys get bad pretty fast on that not even close charge balacing charger.

I had a similar problem with my CX2. I know it may sound crazy, but the new blades that I put on were bad. I had brought mine to the hobby shop where I bought it and the guy tried a new set from a new pack and up it went.
You maywant to try a fresh set of blades.

maybe the blades are off, when you hover look to see if the blades arent going in a straight line but if they're in two different lines

Hey, on the top and lower blades near where you screw them in there is a box shape (contains the hole for connecting to the shafts), you will see a number in a circle. Make sure the numbers match in the sets of the top and lower blades. If the numbers are different then they came from a dif. press or whatever and they may not be compatible.

I always balance my blades before installing. Connect the 2 blades together and put them on a balancer. I made a homemade one out of Popsicle sticks! Then, put clear tape on the lighter blade. Install tape on the underside, make sure there's no bubbles. If weight is slightly off, install tape near the inner portion of blade (towards center). If weight is off a lot, put tape towards outer end of blade. Scotch tape works and so does packing tape. I use packing tape if the weight difference is big enough. Once balanced, heli flies better. I even balance blades out of a brand new package.

I've purchased a couple of sets of E-Flite blades. Your info for these, is incorrect. I really wish it wasn't though. That would simply things for alot of others.

I'm confused, what part is incorrect?

I'm confused, what part is incorrect?
I have 3 packs of Lower blades, and a pack of uppers.
2 of the Lower packages have B2 printed in that area on the blade, and 1 pack has B4.
None of the upper ones are marked at all.

Yeh, I just checked my uppers and the set that's on there appears to have a 3 or W on them. All of my others have nothing except a small line inside the circle. Guess that applies to lowers only. I never knew there were blade markings. My lowers say B1 and B2.

Well apparently what they *shoud be are mold pattern indications.
A way for the factory to ID what batch they are, and what casting mold they came out of.
If it was a part identification thing, generally they would just have the product or part number engraved into the mold. Which I'm sure that is left off for numerous reasons (weight, turbulence, etc..).

Thank you all of you for the advices, I solved the problem, and I cant belive what was wrong. It was the blades, they were well installed but were not well shaped in factory, I blend them by hand incresing the angle and I begin to hover again, it seems that maybe some blades came with some defect by factory as some one of you suffer the same problem.

when laying the blades individually on a table, some blades lie flat, others rock. Yes, they are different shapes, probably due to the thin flexible plastic. Could be from the factory that way or they distorted if stored in too hot a warehouse. Or if the pack of new blades was left on a car seat on a screaming hot day out in the sun, a few new shapes are likely :)
