can some one help please i have a futaba t7cp radio and a telebee headlock and standard dual rate gyro (and im a newbee and from uk) i am getting quite confused at trying to set up the giro,when i set the gain on the transmitter does the gain on the giro have to be set at any particular position i.e 0% or 50%?on the transmitter in gyro setting i have up n 70% and dn n 45% is this correct does any one know approx settings for this gyro any help would be appreciated by the way this gyro is mounted on a trex 450 thanks.

Howdo fellow englishman in americaland!!! Right iirc, (its a few months since i set up a t7c) gyro settings are roughly up h 40% down n 50%. if you adjust the values in your gyro settings youll find another initial before the gain rating you need one in heading hold "h" iirc and one in rate "n".
you also need the gyro mounted with the sticker in the VERTICAL PLANE.

what does the gain on the actual gyro have to be set at if i am making gain adjustments through my transmitter or does it not matter thanks

If you hook up the Gain wire to your receiver, it disables the gain pot on the gyro.

in my gyro menu on my transmitter i have up a 40% dn n 50% is this correct what does the a and n stand for is one normal mode and one hh mode if so which is which .is the 40% and 50% above gain or servo movement is the gain adjusted on the endpoints on channel 5 on futaba t7cp thanks
