Hey all, i figured i'd start my first post here with a quick question.. i did a quick search but didnt really find anything on it.

Basically i wanna mount my Surefire flashlight to my blade 400 and take it out in the yard tonite, for some low flying just to check out what its like.. its a 4oz flashlight so it looks like the blade has plenty of oomf to get it up.. but i was wondering, do i mount it directly under the swashplate/main driveshaft, or should i mount it a bit further back, im not quite sure where the center of gravity is on this thing yet..

Thanks for the help

If that is all you have for light on the heli I would not recommend you try it.

No good way to light up the heli enough to tell the orientation of it while flying.

Hovering without being able to tell what direction the heli is pointed is beyond anyones skill.

What you are trying to do is not safe. My best advice is don't try it.
