I need a little more speed and want to get a nice motor... the 420 motor just doesn't have the power it had when i first got it? anyone know why that is or have any suggestions to fix the problem? I don't want to get a new motor but i got to go fast..

So are you saying you do or don't want a new motor??? You've got two different things goin there. If you do upgrade a motor I would think about one of the align 430 motors, they're cheap and have a lot of power. Also check the esc if your motor has less power, that's a more likely problem than the motor itself.

I would really spend the money and get the Scorpion HS1222-8 motor with scorpion 45A speed control, and an 11 tooth pinion. Also you should set your throttle curve to max out at 91% anything more and you will bend main shafts tail booms and feathering spindles in flight. But at 91% Ive had good luck with them holding together with this set up.

Your motor probably hasn't lost any power, its probably the battery that is worn out.
