I hover a streched Voyager "E" Heli. I am using the stock paddles on it. When I bought it used it had paddles on it that are about twice the surface area of the stock ones. I have never tried to fly with the larger ones. :?: What difference can I expect if I use the larger size paddles.

Hey, Tom. It's Derek

The paddle with the larger serface area will deflec more air which means a more responsive heli. It should be lighter too, put it on and give it a try,

i am flying the TT "green" paddle on my shuttle. The green paddle has a larger serface area and is lighter which makes for a more responsive flight.

My Heli is quite responsive now. I f bigger paddles will make it more so, I think I will wait until I am more into FF before trying out something new.
Derek have you ever flown with a smaller paddle or have you always used your Green ones?

Sorry for my late reply,

I've flown 3 types of paddles,

-The really heive stock blacks, it was really hard to fly with the paddles, response was VERY slow.

-The TT "White", thise were nice, much more responsive. The frist flight i allmost crashed coming out of a turn, it used to take alot of stick to get it level but with these "a little means alot" :D

-The TT "Green", MAN OH MAN! these things really makes a heli come alive, VERY RESPONSIVE!, but the hover takes more care to be done.

Over all i like the TT "Whites" the best, best of both worlds, and because i not into 3D yet the "Whites" was all i needed, but in last month's freak crash i flung one miles away, never to be found. And AJ didn't have the Whites in stock i had to settle for the Green ET.

PS I've only flone the greens 3 times so i might start to like it in a few more flights.
