Hey!

Well, as you know i have been struggling with my Solid G gyro on both my 500 and 600N. And today i've had it. It has no reason, what so ever, to do this. I start flying, and after 1,5 tank it goes full freaking pitch on tail. Now offcourse i am no pro so i cant save it. Just easily put it down, it tips. WHOP. There goes my brand new Align Blades. Now i havent flown hard since this happend 1. time, and i have never crashed it. So is there any way to get any cash back? Atm i cant afford to fly anymore because of this damn Gyro issue!:(

So, here is what i have broken so far!

2 sets of Radix 600
1 set of my Align blades
2 sets of Align tail blades
1 set of radix tail blades
2 landing sets
2 tail booms
+ Hell lot of links and small stuff.

And all because of that Gyro problem. Anyone got any tips? Any chance in the world for some refound?
I am sending it in to repair now, starting to wish i bought a Spartan! :(

I have a Solid G that hasn't had any problems what so ever.... No one I don't care who you are, futaba, Spartan, JR etc etc etc can produce thousands of Gyros and not a few bad ones. Anyways sorry about your luck.

Weren't you in the discussion about this a few weeks back? I had the same thing happen. My Solid G just lost the tail and down I came. Cost me gear, blades, main shaft, feathering,....the usual. Finally got through to a Curtis tech and sent my gyro in. They said they couldn't find anything wrong with it but sent me a new one anyway. No problems now with the new one. Get hold of Jarret Watson....tech2@curtisyoungblood.com, he should be able to help you out. First, as if I have to tell you, get that thing off your heli. Good luck.

mewsikman,
I have asked many times but you never answered to me. Didn't you have another two gyros on one of yours helis that drifted before fitting a Spartan and it drifted too? You start to seriously look what is wrong in your heli... bearing, engine, stiff rod, etc. I have already offered to you to send your gyros back to be checked for your price of mind. You have not replied to that post either.
