I'm thinking about doing a clear canopy on Wesley's Phazor and putting the glow wires inside. What do you guys think?

I don't think you will notice any difference inside or out on a clear canopy.
The glow wire will look brighter on a white bleach bottle canopy, where it can reflect off the white.

I was going to put light strings inside a clear canopy and ended up gluing them to the outside with hot glue. I couldn't get my hands in there to secure them, and I figured what is the in flight difference. Everybody seems to use tiewraps, but that is a lot of holes to drill. The glue works pretty well.

I think it would be very cool to have glow wires and a clear canopy.

Yes, going to use the poly canopy. Already have it and ordered glow wire last night. :)

Just did mine with the clear canopy from ReadyHeli. Looked great...for a second...
Align driver went belly up. Was running on 2s so I don't know what happened, may have been a bad one.

I prefer the white canopy for orientation reasons. Clear shows both side of the glow wire and can look like a glow mess. The white plastic canopy blocks the other side and tends to "glow" the entire canopy which is easier to see. I have tried both ways and preferred the white.

Yep, we decided the same thing. So we went with a yellow canopy. Picking up our night blades while going the MHA...perhaps it'll maiden as a night bird. :smokin:
