i need a new radio, been using a futaba 9chp and it works fine, but the frequency control is getting a bit tedious with all the flyers at the club.

so im looking at either the futaba 12FG or the JR 9303. i like the futaba "feel" and programability better, but the spektrum/jr receivers seem like they are better thought out.

just not sure what to do, so i'll let you decide!

It's your money, but the X9303 2.4 is pretty much pure excellence in MY OPINION.

Another nice thing is the wide range of receivers that dont cost 90 dollars each. 6100 is nice and small for the park flyers/400 size and they have the larger size with satellite receivers for the bigger 500/.50/.90 sized.

Why not buy a Fasst 2.4GHz or synthesized module for the 9C? Both options would be cheaper than a 12FG...

You might want to look at the new Futaba 10C. It is a radio that has a lot of features for the price. Also you want have to convert all your models to 2.4ghz at once. As the 10C will accept the 72 mhz module the 9C uses. 10C should be available in a couple of weeks,

At dealers like Ron's and Heliproz. I would think the 10C will be about $550.

I just got done programing a 10C for a buddy and I must say it is a very nice radio.
The models from the 9C/ campac transferred over just like the should. You just have to activate the THR Hold.
Like Dave said, it will accept the 72 mhz module the 9C uses.

I have both the 12FG & the 9XII, 9303 basically is the US version of 9XII.
I don't think they are in a same class. 12FG has ballrace gimbals, much more smooth than 9303.
The programming features is completely different, 12FG is much more powerful, 9303 is more easy to use.
Also, I love the 12FG can be software upgradeable for new features and bug fix, SD card for more model moemories or backup. Also, 12FG is a modular system, you can still use your 72MHz system and don't need to convert all models to 2.4GHz.
