apparently not..... . so due to rubbing out my wicked cmt 550 carbons cause i fired my tx up in trex mode[idiot] then turning my woodies into kindling at 2000+ rpm versus the ground i just got some.their only ten bucks cheaper here than the gaui 500 carbons and the carbons are well you know.....skinny.......kinda regretting it now.just had to add an unbelievable amount of weight to the end of one trying to get the c.o.g.'s matching. something like six or seven times round the end of one blade with electrical tape then three times round the middle of the other to get it kinda in balance.this cannot be a good thing.....

Man that sure sounds like poor quality control!

I use the Gaui 500mm woodies & have at most only ever needed about 40mm of tracking tape to have them correctly balanced

I wonder whats going on with the 500mm woodies, they seem to be out of stock every where.

Graeme,
If you are looking for them and I couldn't get any last week, that means Mother Earth must be claiming a few. She has enough of mine.
I went to 550's to keep flying and quite like them for the time being, they also seem to be stronger than the 500mm.

Hi Eddy, hows the weather up there mate, we're getting a soaking down here!

What differences have you noticed with the 550mm blades? Does your flight times take a hit? How do they handle?
