Futaba receiver R146iP compatible with Graupner/JR radios ?

Hi Helifreak guys,

I'm new on this forum and wonder if someone could help me and answer the question below :

Is the Futaba receiver R146iP compatible with the radio Graupner MX12 ?

I just received one and cannot make it work or even initialise. I have of course used a Futaba compatible quartz on the receiver and the Graupner one on my radio.

Is it normal meaning that the Futaba PCM signal is not compatible with the Graupner PCM signal ?

Futaba PCM signal is proprietary, will not work with other brands.

I had unfortunately the same type of answers from other sources. I will have to sell my receiver and get a Graupner one instead.
