Has anyone tried to use UV LEDs (http://www.lck-led.com/product_info.php/cPath/1/products_id/37) to excite glow paint (http://glowinc.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=2) on their heli? How well does it work? I have a Gaui 200 in the mail and want to do night flight. Making my own night blades seems like a tough thing to get balanced, so I thought that if I could just paint the blades and mount a bright UV LED (http://www.lck-led.com/product_info.php/cPath/1/products_id/37) or two to excite the paint that would achieve the same thing.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Joe

Mike Demita (Madman on here)has done this and it works pretty well.
Take a look at his website for some pics.

Not on the baldes but the canopy. and on foamy planks.
