I have just finish the build on MT SE.

but having problems with the 2 blade pitch travel being unequal. one blade would give me +9/-11(20 degree travel) , the other blade would give +10/-6 (total 16 degree travel) .

I re-checked the linkage length and it is according to Manual specification. I am using the outer mixing arm hole on both arm.

I have not tracked the blades yet cos knowing this problem, the blades will definitely not track properly.

I have looked at the head design many times, and still couldn't understand how this could happen.

Could anyone help ?:dontknow:arggg:

I am going to guess and say you are a newbie to helis, correct ? If so I recommend going through the Finless videos in the newbie section here: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=52530 .

This collection of videos will quickly give you more knowledge than you can imagine before you watch them. It has been a few months since I watched them but I believe the ones with ccpm in their titles are the ones that deal with proper head set up.

The Thunder Tiger suggested link lengths are really just a good starting point. The Finless videos although dealing mostly with Trex helis still contain the proper procedure for the Mini Titan.

thanks. have seen some but not all the finless video. will do the rest.

I manage to track down the problem due to cyclic servo arm travel not equal. one servo would give morr total travel compared to another. I used the EPA function on the TX to make the travel the same.

However, now even the end point of the servo are the same, when i push the throttle up and down the swashplate will do a little "dance" in between.

The little dance is CCPM interaction and is hard to get rid of without a very highend radio. Its caused by the servo signals from the radio being slightly out of time (they are sent one after another, not all at the same time). Just make sure that the swash plate is level at high, low, and midstick. Unless your radio has a menu for adjusting CCPM, that's about all you can do. Use subtrim at center stick to level the swash and EPA for the high and low positions. At midstick, all of your servo arms should be 90* to the servo.

see if your blade tracking its god you may have to put it ok to set-up it right, put it runing at 5º and motor up to 40 50% like wen it goo to hover and see if you see only 1 dish iff you see 1 up and 1 down you mast correct the tracking you may ned to try to loose or tite the gribs links , the best way it same 1 grab it hover the head so it dont go up and you form 2 metes away can see the blades on you see line ; >------

i hope it help , sorry for my bad inglich
