Hi I was scanning the titles of the various threads here all the way back to 2007 and hardly ever see anything posted about the Raven heli. Is there a problem with it? It dosen't seem to be very popular. Most of the threads I see are either on the Swift or the Hawk. I was thinking about getting a Raven but the lack of discussion on it has me wondering if I should go with something else.

There is nothing wrong with the Raven. Have you noticed that Raven owners aren't really posting to put thier helis for sale, while other brands (no names mentioned) are being sold quite frequently? I am not trying to start a war just bearing the facts I see on this board as well as other RC heli boards.
The Raven is quite a value when you think about it. For the price you pay, you will also be getting upgrades that are optional to other brand. Plus you get a set of good CF blades for that one price.
This is my humble opinion.........good heli to have.

eh I have a raven and it's been going for 3 years I find it's a very stable air frame I'm using the os 47 on 30% nitro cool power with black rotortech blades.
It is a great helicopter and has been good to me!!l

The reason you do not see many threads on the Raven is not so much that there are not many out there, I think it is because there are very little need to start threads about Ravens, as their are basically no issues with it that need any solving - it is my favorite 50!
Another thing hear on HF is that it seems to be more of a site for Align flyers. We centurians have found other sites with many more of us there then here, and tend to hang out more often in those.
Hopefully more century fliers will discover that there are Century friendly people here and more will start hanging here.:)

Thanks for the replies. I now feel better toward choosing a Raven for my next heli.

:shock:My Raven seems like a good helicopter very durable, I've been having trouble setting up the rotor head, if anybody could give me some tips and how to's on setting it up properly it would be great because the radio is very complicated, one problem I've been having is when I try to hover, it wants to pitch to the left, I have adjusted things so many times that I think it is really out of whack, if I could just find someone who could tell me how to get it centered so I can hover I would be very happy. thanks everybody.

More info would be required.
What radio and servos?
Starting your own thread here might help also.
As this thread is a rather old one, with a topic heading that is not your question, I almost didn't check it again!
Maybe others that could help, haven't either, for the same reason
