Any Reason Why This Wouldn't Work?

1. Tx on, idle up on, throttle centered
2. Center all servo arms, remove control links
3. With flybar level (bubble level)
4. Blade holder level (bubble level) thus 0 pitch
5. Swash level (calibrated eyeballs)
6. Adjust length of control linkages to fit.
7. adjust flybar blades to 0 pitch.

Shouldn't this give me 0 pitch and set the swash at the correct height?

Very neat setup. The only thing I would add is to maybe counterweight the blade grip level, so the inherent slop isn't rotating the blade grip all the time. Make sure that your pitch curve mid point in idle up is 50%. And I know this is stating the blindingly obvious but disconnect the motor. You will also have to do this on a completely level surface in order that the main shaft is truly perpendicular. Take all the above with a pinch of salt but that's my train of thought.
