I have my throttle and pitch curves set, but I'm not really happy with them, so I just wanted to see what some other people were running for moderate sport to light 3d type flying.

as soon as i can fly mine a couple of times without crashing it, i will post mine.:(

My idle up 1 and 2 is at 100-inh-85-inh-100, normal is at 0-40-80-95-100. I play with them a lot and these work very well for me.

My idle up 2 ia 100 straight across, with a linear pitch curve maxed out. The ONLY downside is putting in 650 in the stock pack after a devastatingly short 4 mins. On the other hand its freakin balistic, and of course none of those silly flybar weights.

What are your pitch curves?

Linear

IMO pitch curves should ALWAYS be linear especially if you are doing aerobatics.

What do you mean when you say linear? Do you mean linear on the positive side of and the negative side of pitch? So in the little pitch curve graph in your radio it looks like a V. Still new :o. Thanks.

Personaly I can only speak for a DX7. With a DX7 your curve (or "line") will be diagonal from the bottom left to the top right or, 0-INH-50-INH-100. Linear kinda means "inline" so 20-INH-50-INH-80 would be linear too. Another words your pitch curve is at equal intervals both direction from center. An example of non-linear would be 20-inh-0-inh-100. On a DX7 your curve would not be represented by a straight line.

Yeah, I know what linear means, but if your pitch curves are linear wouldn't that mean you wouldn't get negative pitch?

No it means you'll have equal pitch in both positive and negative.

As Buzz also says, it means it is linear from -10 degrees low stick, to zero degrees mid stick, to +10 degrees high stick
(or whatever your maximum pitch values are)

Thanks guys :). I get it now.
