I want to build a military helicopter such as a Blackhawk, Cobra or Apache and use the Align 600E mechanics. Does anyone know how to handle the raised tail on this project? It looks like I will have to go down at the Fus. before it can go up to the tail. Probably a flex shaft, but how will I couple it to the Align mechanics. I am willing to use either a belt drive or a torque tube on the Align.

You can probably find a way to adapt the torque tube output to flex drive, but it would take some thought, and might be fiddly to get working correctly. A 45* gearbox at the tail is another option, but you will have to adapt the end of the torque tube to the gear box. You will need to extend it anyway, as many of the elevated tail fuses are 60 sized. Either way, you're going to have to do some custom fabrication.

It won't be easy, but I don't think the problem is insurmountable. The belt is probably out for this type of project...

i think torque tube will be better and i think you can get the benefit of Hirobo scale Cobra or Tiger scale mecanical parts to use the same raised tail system, because they use torque tube. I think it will be ok
