Hi guys i just got done doing a very long flight time... I have just upgraded the motor to the turnigy motor :D OUTSTANDING motor thats all i can say. Im hovering at about 40% throttle and when i do pitch pumps no bog compared to the other stock motor. For all of you determining if u are going to upgrade DO IT!! Best upgrade for mini-titan. I have not done 3d with it yet because i am just breaking in my lipos. Will have more details on flight times ect.. just did 2 packs in 3 hours :) best i have ever done lol.

I do not have a stock mini-titan :P i basically have a full aluminum head the turnigy motor and an ABF 2100mah 20c lipo. Just testing these lipos because they are 19.99 at www.hobbycity.com For the first flight i like them alot. getting 11 minutes on the first run of the lipo its ever seen. At the end of each flight each cell was aprox 3.35 volts each. plus they have a really good smell of silicon :P

I LOVE THIS UPGRADE!!
ps: I will have a video and a lot of pictures coming up this weekend. oo and school is 2 days from being over and i am so happy!!

Thanks everyone

Hi motoxmaniac93,

I have the green Turnigy on the way what ESC are you useing?
Which pinion and what headspeed are you flying with 40% throttle?

I am very curious about comparing the Turnigy motor with the 500TH and the SCORPION 2221-8!

Keep us updated about the HobbyCity LiPo packs!
I am thinking about of ordering 4 of them to get less cycles on my KOKAM 30C Packs!

lol, with an 2170ma 25c FP bat. and the new SE motor 13 pinion i have 20min + - flight time at 65% ant 1/2 stick and 5š at 1/2 too , even with the old motor i have 14 to 17min in normal flight, the new one its bather because its more efficient and run cooler

for normal flight if you use the manual set-up for T C and P C if you don't have to match wind you can run the motor mor slow and you have nor time to flight

i only recommend to use an 3A ubec for the electronic to the bec don't warm to match and you don't have the motor stooping during the flight , it will be a second but sam times we think its interferences but its not ( i'm talking about the stock bec from the artf kit v1)

if you ar using plastic gribs try to cut 2mm from the arm it will help to the tracking

Hi martin,

The Turnigy motor is not green any more. It is a sweet gold color. like a rusty color kind of but it is very bright and looks sweet in the air. I am using the pinion that came with the mini-titan kit and that is a 13 tooth. The pinion that comes with the motor is not large enought to get enough on the gear. Im not sure what the head speed is yet tho. (dont have a tach) but i cant wait this weekend to flip the idle switch. just going full throttle in normal mode theree is deffinatly more headspeed than the old motor.

<< 13+ minīs w/ 500 TH on Jazz 40-6-18 - powered by 3s2p 2800 mAh LiMn-cells ( was told that 15 mins are possible but didnīt reached īem with mine ). The big advantage of the Lithium-Mangan-cells : you can fly till theyīre close to empty ( 97 % useable capacity ). Powered up within 30 minīs on 2C rate, 3C is possible but saves up only about 7 minīs and decreases lifetime.
