What Spare Parts?

Well I just took the plunge and bought a 200 from a private party and it should be here next week. I have read many of the posts here and I've started to put together an order for spares. I don't want to get things I'll never need, but I want to be sure I get most everything you folks have had to replace at one time or another from either a crash or from wear. Looks like you have covered most things... Looking at my parts useage the only thing missing that i would recomend is:

Main Gear 203020 or 203540
Tail Shaft 203120
Main linkage set 203322
Universal Links Pack 203326
Main Grips 203560

I would scrap the stock pitch control set spare part and get the CNC one instead:

Does this slider improve anything? I almost picked one up but stopped myself thinking it wouldn't make any difference besides maybe add a tiny bit of weight to the tail. I've never had the actual slider break before, only the link that connects the slider to the tail push rod. Does it help with binding or something?

Well, its just what i have noticed... I made my own carbon push rod and CA'ed the Ball links into the end rather than attaching via threaded rod. This does save weight, but i also figured it would be a long time before the links wore... I did notice that the Plastic Ball on the stock slider wears quite quick and have replaced it already... a metal ball is better. I also think i had the single bearing slider initially and so saw a marked improvement by swapping to this bling control set.... Just my experience ;-)

double up on the main shafts, see-saw arms, blades and landing gear (if it's not the cf skids) you'll be glad you did. Oh ya the main grip screws too. Better get 3 of those!

I second that. MUCH easier and more precise, too. And you'll also like the smooth canopy retainers (http://www.readyheli.com/203450_H200_Body_Retainers_Pack_Gaui_Hurricane_200 _p/203450.htm). Difficult to install (because of their awkward location) but they make removing/replacing the canopy much easier.
