Friends:

On Futaba 7C I cannot get the timer on. The only possible settings are INH and OFF

The other settings are Time 05:00, Mode Down, SW 3 up

Any ideas?

What I want is a countdown timer from 5 minutes starting with 1/4 throttle stick.

Ideas ?

Thanks amigos, -Migs

Inhibited and OFF - the OFF means, you have activeted this, but the switch for timer is right now in off position .-) ....

Ohhh! I went to TIMER and moved the throttle up a bit and the timer switched to ON. Now I just have to learn how to reset the timer back to 5:00 as needed.
Can you tell how much of a newbie I am?
Thanks for the post! -Migs

To delete timer, you mean you start counting the time, and something has occured and you want to move it back (for example to 5 min again ? ) At first, stop the timer - put the switch to off position, then use "select cursors" on the right side - near the circle "PRESS" button. Move by this buttons(select cursors) on the timer - it will blick, then press the cicrle PRESS button, until it goes back to start configuration for timer :-).

I hope, you will understand, my English is not so good ... .-).

ad. newbie .-) ...
I have this radio for a month and most functions I had to tried and compared with reality :-). The manual .... is a little bit hectic :-). Earlier, I had JR radio (9xII) ... and I found the difference. JR - better setup, easy and clear :-). Futaba - harder setup, but better setting for functions :-). May be better radios from Futaba are better :-), this is "low end" so what could we expect .-) ... But in the end - in result, Futaba is much better, because I can setup every switch and so on (if it will be ON/OFF in front position for example). You know, what I mean :-).
