View Full Version : I'm getting the X-treme 50...

Ok, nothing special.
Most people in this thread have at least one...

But I'm still excited. Full alu head, programmable... Where do you still see that for a reasonable price?

For setup I'm thinking:
TT Redline 53, Zimmerman, BLS451 on cyclic, Spartan 760/BLS251 on tail, Multigov, Carbsmart, AR7100, Radix main/tail, Stub paddles.

What do y'all think? I don't see many people with the Redline, although I believe it has a little bit more power.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the build and flying this heli. I think it deserves it's own spot in R/C Helicopter Support instead of Other Makes and Models.

similar to mine matie rememberto use the weights that come with the stubz as its a responsive bird with heavy paddles gawd only knows what she'll be like with light a f**k ones. as to the engine the os is tried and tested, and yes the redline does have about0.000001 bhp more but the powerband on the tt engine is nowhere near as fat as the os. ive set up both engines in trex's and prefer the os with the align pipe over the redline with mp5. I am also using os/align in my extreme no shortage of power at all. 3 gallons in and all is well with the world and my tic tocs are getting better.

Rusty from RJXofUSA is running the TT53 with the RJX pipe on one of his X50's and the other has a Hyper with RJX pipe, he reports that the TT53 on the RJX pipe is making a bit more power than his Hyper with the same pipe.

Either way sounds like you have a very good combo going in. :thumbup:

Mine is using OS 50 SX-H Hyper \ Hatori with Radix 600mm mains and 95mm tails, and the performance is awesome - check out the vids in my website !

It is the original yellow canopy repainted by a local airbrush Israeli artist - www.relart.com with my own design paint scheme.

Time to build. I got the Revlock 30 with that... curious how well it will work.
