I'm looking into a radio for non plane/heli use, maybe for little robotics and other things. I saw all the nice features of the Futaba 10C and I think its great, it has an additional 3 knob switches and you can assign basically anything to any switch. I'm wondering if you can do that with the x9303, assign any channel to any switch. Also, the futaba has special programming that activates certain switches when other switches are at certain positions. Can you do that with the x9303? I really like the features of the 10c but the expensive reciever, and being not-compatible with my Spektrum DX7 gear is a minus.

You can reassign functions to switches as required on the x9303, don't know about activating switches from other switches ... would that be like mixes??

You can't assign any function to any switch on JR. Some functions can be assigned to a limited number of switches.
The 12X might be better for this. The manual is available on the JR site www.jrradios.com

Aren't you talking about using this radio illegally? It sounds like you need a surface radio instead of a air radio.

2.4ghz. not illegal.
get out of that 72mhz vs 27mhz vx 35mhz mindset.

Speaking of switches, does it void the warranty if you open the radio and move them ? Ie buying a plane radio, and needing the switches moved around?
easy to do, on the 9303, but does it void the warranty ?
